Biography

Mary Anibal is an Afro-fusion artist and mbira player who writes and sings songs that inspire change. She released her debut single entitled Bhonzo Muderere in 2020. In 2019 she was a female lead vocalist for Wenyombwe Band which won the Imagine International Competition in The Netherlands. In 2021 She was also the music arranger for the Group The Unveiled which was the runner-up for the Old Mutual Amazing Voices Africa. She has worked with Jah Prayzah, Allan Chimbetu, Houz of Gruv now Kulcha Houz, Soa Roy from Madagascar, Iyana, Josh Meck, and Othnell Mangoma just to mention a few. When not on the stage she teaches music in an effort to fan into flame a passion for the arts in people of all ages.
