Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo has partnered with the Zimbabwe

Musicians Union (ZIMU) for its upcoming edition in September, featuring two main events that promote inclusivity and celebrate diversity in the arts.

  • 1. Women, Wine and Words – a music and spoken word event celebrating women’s voices and artistic talents, providing a platform for them to express themselves and showcase their skills.
  • 2. Gender at Work Conference and Discussions – an event aimed at empowering, connecting, and celebrating individuals of all genders in the arts, addressing critical issues affecting their participation and growth in the creative sector.

This partnership aligns with Intwasa’s mission to produce a festival that encompasses mass celebration of diversity and creativity, promoting excellence in Zimbabwe’s arts and culture. By including events that cater to diverse perspectives and experiences, Intasa Arts Festival koBulawayo & ZIMU are working towards creating a more inclusive and equitable arts sector.

The 2025 edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from the 24th to the 27th of September.
